Micro 3D Banner

You may notice the new Micro 3D banner over in the sidebar. I’ve got a review unit coming in soon so I can test some cool ideas I have to our program, and I’ve setup an affiliate ID with the company so we can get a little kickback if anyone orders a machine with our link. This will go a long way in helping us get supplies, or more units, to do some really great stuff with!

So far I’ve planned to print up a few open-source games to use in our library, and some great player aids for those who may have trouble with motor skills.

Once we’ve got our test unit in I’ll make sure to post some progress pics!

CT Beyblade Joins Across the Board

For 2 years now I’ve been running events for Beyblade fans around Connecticut for the World Beyblade Organization under the name CT Beyblade. Around every 2 months or so we gather in Simsbury to have some pretty amazing Beyblade tournaments. There’s prizes, worldwide rankings through the WBO, and friendships forged between all the participants.

Now I’m pulling CT Beyblade in under the Across the Board banner. I’ll keep on maintaining the CT Beyblade Facebook page with pictures, info, and news, but that information will also be carried over onto here.

If you haven’t checked out a tournament, keep an eye on our Events page to see when the next one is! Come to compete, participate in open play, or just to spectate. All ages are welcome, from little ones up to adult.

Game Night Success!

I’d just like to give a big thanks to both the Latimer Lane PTO for inviting me to help host their board game night, and everyone who showed up to play some games! It’s always fun helping people discover great tabletop games that they may have never heard about before.

Last night saw a few game really shine with the crowd. King of Tokyo took center stage while Kulami, Six, Ticket To Ride, and Niya also saw a good amount of play.

I’m finally getting back into the swing of things, and you can be sure I’ll be setting up events one again in 2015!

If anyone who attended has any questions about a game they either saw or played last night, feel free to get in contact with me via the contact form.
